Est. for those who read for themselves
READ WITH OPEN EYES.
LISTEN WITH EARS TO HEAR.
LEARN FOR YOURSELF.
A modern visual approach to Bible study that keeps Scripture at the heart, helps us understand the Kingdom principle, recognise it in everyday life, and apply what we learn.
What is BWB?
BWB is built for the reader who wants more than a summary. It slows the passage down, sets it back into its own world, and then asks the harder question — what is the Kingdom principle here, and what does it look like in my week?
Read Scripture for yourself, without borrowed blinders.
Understand the context the words were first spoken into.
Identify the Kingdom principle held inside the passage.
Connect that principle to modern life — without changing Scripture.
Reflect honestly on what it asks of you personally.
“The Scripture does not change. The principle does not change. The example changes so we can understand it.”
The Method
Six stages that carry a passage from the page to the person — the same path every BWB study follows.
Begin in the text itself, read slowly and whole.
Recover the world, audience and moment behind it.
Name the unchanging truth the passage reveals.
Find where that same principle meets today.
Decide what it asks of you this week.
Return, pray and record what has changed.

View GuideAbout BWB
BWB began with a simple frustration: it is possible to read the words on a page for years and still not be sure what the passage is actually saying. Reading is not the same as understanding, and understanding is not the same as living it.
So the questions were narrowed down. What does this text say? What was happening when it was said? What Kingdom principle is being revealed here? And — honestly — how should that principle shape the way I speak, work, spend and forgive this week?
BWB makes no denominational claim and asks no one to take its word for anything. The method is a set of tools, not a verdict. Scripture stays at the centre; the examples simply move closer to home so the principle becomes visible.
